Hi, I’m Sergio Bertran (91’), a Goya Nominee film composer and music producer based in Barcelona.

I have had singles released through major media platforms such as The Guardian or Pitchfork. I have also been humbled with glowing reviews in both pop and film industries, and have had songs translated into different languages for global ad campaigns, reaching more than 50 countries.  

Some of my notable film works include "La Imatge Permanent", which won the Espiga de Oro at SEMINCI and was featured in Locarno's Official Selection. Additionally, the film received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 2024 Premios Goya.

Furthermore, "El Fantástico Caso del Golem", made appearances at prestigious festivals including SXSW, SSIFF, Festival de Málaga, and BAFICI. Finally, "La Reina de los Lagartos", an art-house darling, was hailed for having "the best Spanish OST in years," as praised by Filmin founder Jaume Ripoll Vaquer.

I treasure arty and out of the ordinary projects but I also know how to bring in the numbers. More than 50 million streams and international ad campaigns serve to prove that balance.
